Excavation support: This is the main purpose of steel support. When excavating deep foundation pits, it is used to cooperate with underground continuous walls, piles and other enclosure structures to withstand the horizontal pressure of the soil and avoid overturning or deformation of the enclosure structure. It is commonly used in subway stations, high-rise building basements, municipal tunnels and other projects.
Temporary support for construction: When pouring concrete structures (such as beams, slabs, and columns), it serves as a temporary load-bearing system, replacing traditional wooden supports, with stronger bearing capacity and better stability; It can also be used to strengthen the support of scaffolding and enhance overall stiffness.
Existing building reinforcement and renovation: When reinforcing the structure of old and dangerous buildings, steel supports can be used as new load-bearing components to share the original structural load and improve the structural performance.
